Dowel measuring system DMS6

Presentation

We developed the 6th generation of wood dowel measuring and sorting system for more detailed inspection of color on dowels. The new version has no presorting system, since two image monochrom cameras are integrated inside the measuring box. They inspect knots and color on all surfaces of the dowel simultaneously with measuring. The system was many developed for birch dowels, since they have very small knots. In addition, the system has automatic adjustment of v-channel and automatic mirror cleaning system. The DMS6 can measure dowels from 20 mm to 60 mm in length and 5 mm to 12 mm in diameter.
