Flexible and programmable control system for various metal products

The system measures dimensions of various metal products moving down the slide with 3 cameras controlling the process. The first camera with 100 Hz scan frequency is positioned above the slide, performing function of a sensor with improved high precision monitoring of smaller metal pieces. When the first camera detects an object moving down the slide with a speed up to 2 pieces per second, it triggers the high-resolution camera taking images for measurement purposes. There is a third camera with high frequency positioned at the end of the slide instead of a sensor to make sure even the smallest objects are detected, sending signals through computer to the high pressure air blower, which sorts bad products from the good ones.
