Quality control of wooden rails

Wooden rails are made in large quantities and it is hard to see all possible defects that are dependent on wood color, quality of wood and settings of the production machines. We had to consider the following problems:

Dimensional inspection +/-0.1mm , Rail curve inspection, shape of wood carving, missing of wood chip, Inspection of connectors, edge inspection, surface damages and knot inspection. The task must be performed under 5 seconds per track.
