Inspection of lamination stack in electro motors

The assembly of lamination sheets into stacks is used to produce stators and rotors in an electric motor. In most cases, the lamination stack consists of one type of lamination sheet, but packages can also consist of 2 to 3 different lamination sheets.

We had to consider the following problems: Dimensional measurements -/+0.01mm, Centricity of stacking, perpendicularity od stacking, curved Lamination sheets, damaged Lamination sheets, missing parts of Lamination sheets, scratched Lamination sheets and stains on Lamination sheets

The final solution is also affected by the different sizes, shapes of lamination sheets and lamination packages.
